2014 Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebration was held by Buddhist Community Center Letchworth (BCCL) on 19th April 2014 at St. George’s Church Hall, Common View, Letchworth Garden City. The distinguish guests were Mr. H.M.K. Herath, The First Secretary of Sri Lankan High Commission, London and Dr. Mrs. Kokila Vaidyarathne, Minister, of Sri Lankan High Commission, London.

2013 Katina Ceremony was held by The Buddhist Community Centre Letchworth (BCCL) on 19th October at the Free Church Hall, Norton Way, Letchworth Garden City. This year the Katina Poojava was sponsored by Dr. Sri Kantha and Mrs. Chandani Dias and Family, Dr. Yasa Rajapaksa and Family, and Mr. and Mrs. Nimal and Lalitha Dayarathne and Family, with the great support of the management committee and all the other devotees of Vihara.

The Poson celebration was held by Buddhist Cultural Center Letchworth (BCCL) on 22nd and 23rd June, 2013. On Saturday, 22nd June a special retreat (Sill program) was arranged at the temple premises with the guidance of the Chief Incumbent Ven. Dediyawala Wimala Thero and the visiting monk from Glasgow temple Ven. Mathugama Palitha Thero. The days program included meditation, Dhamma sermon, Dhamma discussion, Buddha pooja and invoking blessings to all. There was a large turnout of devotees who observed Sill.

The Vesak celebration was held by Buddhist Cultural Center Letchworth (BCCL) on 25th and 26th May, 2013. A special retreat (Sill program) was arranged at the temple premises with the guidance of the resident monk ven. Mathugama Palitha Thero. on Saturday 25th May. There was a large turnout of devotees who observed Sill.
