Venerable Nallure Sangharathana

(BA Hons, Pandit)

 

Venerable Nallure Sangharathana (BA Hons,Pandit) is the and past Chief Incumbent (2010-2011) of the Letchworth Buddhist Temple. He has completed his Buddhist studies in Buddhist & Pali University of Sri Lanka and also been worked as a teacher for 8 years in Sri Lanka. He has also been worked as a Pali Lecturer in the Education Branch, Ministry of Buddhism, Sri Lanka.

 

Venerable Nahalle Rahula

(BA Hons, Pandit)

 

Venerable Nahalle Rahula (BA Hons, Pandit) was the founder and past Chief Incumbent (2000-2010) of the Letchworth Buddhist Temple. A Civic Award from the Letchworth Garden City Council was bestowed upon him in recognition of his valuable community service.  

   
Venerable Dodamgoda Siri Sumedha

(Vinayacharya)

 

Venerable Dodamgoda Sumedha (Vinayacharya) was a resident monk of the Letchworth Buddhist Temple. As a writer, he has written a few Dhamma books such as ‘Dhamma Padagatha Upama’ (‘ Dhammapada Similes ’) and ‘Nivan Magata Ruwan Doratu’ (‘Golden Entrance To The Path Of Enlightenment’). The name ‘Siri’ was bestowed upon him at his ‘higher ordination’ ceremony in recognition of the publication of his first book.
